and everything inbetween

Tell me more, tell me more!

I’ve been shooting weddings for 20 years, so you are in good hands.

You have spent forever planning your big day. This is your time, enjoy it!

I’ll add my magic ingredient to help your pictures pop.

You just do you and let me make sure you get great wedding photographs.

Most importantly, I want you to have the best day ever.

The best weddings? They’re like a deliciously baked pie: sweet, a bit nutty, and full of delightful surprises.

So kick off your shoes and dance like no one’s watching - because the best moments are those when the couple are relaxed and genuinely enjoying themselves!

🥂✨

Cheers to that

quirky love

I’m all about capturing the moment as it appears, but I realise the importance of ‘that shot’ you had in mind, or a few prearranged group portraits. The in-laws love them and they make for a nice mantelpiece image.

Lots of people don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. I get it!

That’s why I always encourage the love-birds (that’s you two) to come along to a pre- wedding shoot, and unlike other photographers, I won’t charge extra. It’s all part of the package.

This way you don’t have a stranger pointing a camera at you for hours on end. It’s a proper chance for us to get to know each other before the big event.

I want you to feel super relaxed around me. Think of me as a guest. I will blend in, am easygoing, and will do my very best to do your day, your way.

With years of experience in wedding photography, I’ll help you plan your big event. Let me take the stress, I’m good at it. I’m your go-to girl. Your super adaptable PA. Tell me what you want and I will listen.

I’m also full of great ideas, so feel free to pick my brains.

Is the Great Dane coming?

Hell yes!

Did I say, I love weddings!

What the people say!

Your wedding photography questions answered *

  • Great wedding photography doesn’t have to cost the earth. There is a saying ‘Good wedding photography isn’t cheap, and cheap wedding photography isn’t good. It’s true!

I like to think my packages are priced at alt a level that couples can afford.

Us photographers charge what we do for a reason. We take into account prep, travel, equipment, editing, years of learning the craft and more.

If someone’s offering you the world for hardly any money, it’s probably too good to be true! This also goes for huge discounts. Use your common sense here!

  • Booking your wedding photographer can be overwhelming. There are so many out there, all with their own style. Most couples don’t know what signs to look for in a good photographer. That’s where I come in! After many years in the wedding industry, encountering every type of wedding supplier under the sun, I think I have a pretty good bullsh*t radar. Here are some red and green flags to look out for when booking your photographer!

    WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER GREEN FLAGS

    Let’s start with the positives!

    You Love Their Style

First things first, find a wedding photographer whose style you LOVE. They’ll be documenting your big day and their work will be on your Nan’s windowsill forever. For example, if you’re having a rainbow wedding, Choose a colourful wedding photographer instead of someone that specialises in black and white photos! If you’re not a fan of posing, choose a relaxed wedding photographer (like me!). You need to be confident that they will capture your memories in a way that reflects you.

    Someone who genuinely cares.

This may sound like the bare minimum, but choose a photographer that seems genuinely interested in your day. Look for enthusiasm! Choose somebody who wants your day to be as awesome as possible. No miserable, disinterested people, please!

    Good Reviews / Referrals

Reviews are everything! Or even better, referrals! If a mate has recommended somebody, you have a first-hand account of how brilliant the photographer is. Look for those lovely reviews!

    They Have Their Act Together

If you’re planning your big day, you don’t need any more chaos. Make sure your wedding photographer is organised! You could hire the best photographer in the world, but if they’re taking weeks to respond, turning up late on the day and faffing with equipment, what’s the point?! You deserve quality, clear communication and reliability.

    WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER RED FLAGS

Here are the sneaky things to keep an eye out for.

If it seems too good to be true it probably is…

Us photographers charge what they do for a reason. They take into account prep, travel, equipment, editing, years of learning the craft and more. If someone’s offering you the world for hardly any money, it’s probably too good to be true! This also goes for huge discounts. Use your common sense here!

    No Contract? No Booking!

I cannot stress this enough – A CONTRACT IS ESSENTIAL! This protects both you and your wedding photographer. Make sure you’re covered for worst-case scenarios, in case you need to rearrange or cancel due to things out of your control. If they don’t have a contract, get outta there!

    An Empty Portfolio…

Make sure you can see that your wedding photographer has done this before, and done it well. If they have a scattering of images or lots of photographs from one wedding, chances are they have only shot a few. Ask to see some completed wedding albums. It’s easy to take a few good shots. You want to know that they are consistently good.

Wedding photography is about more than just taking nice photos – it involves being on your toes all day and being constantly alert to capture all those special moments. It often includes liaising with wedding planners, being in the right place at the right time and being assertive enough to smash those group photos. If this is their first rodeo, you might want to think again.

    Where Are The Vibes?

Use your instinct. Are they a person you want to be involved in your big day? Do you get on with them? Do you feel heard? Do they seem genuinely interested? Do they communicate well? Make sure you vibe with your wedding photographer! They’re probably the supplier you’ll have the most contact with on your wedding day, so make sure you’ll be happy to see them.

There’s my best go at bringing you some wedding photographer red and green flags. I hope they’ve been useful! Here comes the plug…

I, myself, actually happen to be a wedding photographer (gasp!). My vibe is colourful, fun and relaxed. Want to check me for green flags? get in touch here!  info@littleredfoxesphotography.co.uk

  • Wedding photographer’s diaries fill up fast. It’s a good idea to book your photographer as soon as you know the date. If you leave it too late you may be limited for choice.

  • You will get a sneak preview within the week.

A few weeks later all the images will be yours!

  • No two weddings are the same!

I don’t work to a formula. I listen and will do my best to make your day your way as much as I possibly can.

I want your images to reflect your vibe.

    I’m a photographer who listens.

  • I’m a Nikon girl.

I have a great selection of cameras and lenses for all occasions.

Ideally, I love working with natural light.

When the occasion demands, I have lots of lightning equipment at my disposal and I knowhow to use it!

  • I do indeed.

When you book your wedding date with me I will invite you to a coupe’s shoot.

Unlike other photographers, I don’t charge for this. It is all part of the package.

Just consider it my wedding gift to you.

I think it is really important that you get on well with your photographer. The engagement/pre- wedding shoot gives us an opportunity to meet up before the big day and chat about your plans. It is informal and friendly. This means on your wedding day I will be a familiar face and you won’t have a stranger pointing a camera.

You will both get some lovely images to keep.

  • I love photogprahjng weddings!

It’s a real privilege for me to be part of someones special day, witnessing all those tender moment, the fun and good feelings.

    I come away uplifted.

Did I say I love weddings!

  • Just get in touch via email or phone.

I can’t wait to hear all about your plans.

  • Sometimes things happen! If for any reason you have to cancel I will be happy to offer you a future date without a deposit.
